Sensational bakery. Pastries stuffed with pralines seem to be their thing so we tried the praline brioche and the praline flan. Both were fantastic. They also serve coffee and there are a few small tables with stools to have a seat, space permitting. Service was very friendly and so patient with our English french. The way they set out our two items for dining in was done with such care. Thanks, team! Update: returned for more and the praline Choco croissant is must try too! Almond croissant is also fabulous.

Great boulangerie/patisserie with excellent and highly recommended praline brioche and one of the best canelés we had while in Bordeaux. It is a small space with limited seating and rustic vibes. Cappuccinos were good, and we experienced very friendly service who were happy to make recommendations. Clearly a popular place for locals and tourists alike

Lovely place to visit, this shop is full of bread like come out from fantasy novel, you can see the kitchen in behind. We grab some bread for brunch. We recommended for tourists to come here, to see an amazing place.

I love it here, I saw this boulangerie on a youtu.be blogs of Bordeaux, now I have pass this place on many occasion but never give it a 2nd glance. But today i decided to pop in. I ordered a parisienne along with a cafe, and for takeaway a brioche praline ( their speciality). All delicious.

I would leave 10/5 points if possible. Very kind and welcoming staff, amazing pastries and salty options for breakfast and lunch. The place was constantly full with locals, speaking also for the quality of the food. We went there twice in 3 days and were not disappointed. Everyone was patient with us and explaining us the different pastries! Thank you very much for the warm welcoming.

I came here 2 mornings in a row for breakfast and was not disappointed! The pastry was out of this world and great coffee too! The staff were kind, friendly and patient. Speaking fluent English, Spanish as the need arose! The was a constant queue each morning and now I can see why! 10/10

This was our favorite bakery in Lyon do we were super excited to find it here. I can't say that it is as good as Lyon but the brioche is yummy. They have casual seating area for coffee and pastries. The praline brioche is still our favorite. I think the ancienne baguette is the way to go. Citron merange tart was yummy. The millionaire Snickers Carmel dessert was very sweet. Can't go wrong with Jocteur.

Loved the pastries here. Tried a brioche with caramelised almonds on the outside, and while the almonds were maybe a bit too sweet, the brioche dough was just perfect. Also tried a croissant that was very light and flaky, just what I wanted to have in France! Everything else also looked great, it was a tough choice. Not many seats inside, so best to get takeaway if more than 2 people.

one of our favorite Boulangerie in Bordeaux, amongst so many great ones. Good selection, lots of delicious options of sweet and savory and of course delicious breads. Staff are very friendly and they make great coffee too.
Parking
parking is tough in this part of Bordeaux with limited street parking and expensive garage parking. Better to use public transport, tram, bike or walk.

Excellent! We came here in the morning and got a selection of pastries to take on our road trip to the Pyrenees. Everything tasted wonderful - the brioche was fluffy, the croissants were flaky, and the rest of the pastries equally as impressive. Friendly service! Highly recommended, well worth a visit!

Charming and rustic bakery with a really nice staff. I see bad reviews about sandwiches which we did not try, yet pastries were awesome ! Try the chocolate cake and the pies.

For my wife and I, Jocteur gets 5 stars, always. We've been coming here for nearly a year, and are most fortunate to live around the corner from this fantastic boulangerie! We've enjoyed every pastry and baked dessert of theirs that we have tasted (we're hoping to try them all one day, but we keep going back to our favorites). Their bread is reliably delicious! Jocteur is a "must go." Have a brioche aux pralines roses and an espresso at least once!
